Aviator Airport Alliance has appointed Minna Virmajoki as the new CEO for their Finnish operations. She succeeds Kimmo Holopainen and takes on the role having previously served as both CFO and acting CEO for the company.

Virmajoki joined Aviator Finland in 2023 as Finance Director and has since progressively taken on greater responsibility within the business. Before entering the aviation industry, she built a long career in several other sectors with a focus on finance, business development, and leadership.

The aviator's motto, ”For every take-off,” reflects our commitment to reliability, safety, and teamwork in everything we do. Every flight depends on the work carried out on the ground, and we are proud of that responsibility. My focus will be on strengthening our operational quality, developing our employees, and building an open and collaborative company culture where continuous improvement is a natural part of everyday life, says Minna Virmajoki.

Experienced leader takes over

Aviator Airport Alliances CEO Jo Alex Tanem highlights Virmajoki's efforts during the period she led the company as acting CEO.

– Minna has already shown her ability to lead Aviator Finland through a period of change and has won the trust of both employees and customers. I am convinced that she will continue to develop the business successfully, he says.

At the same time, he extends thanks to outgoing CEO Kimmo Holopainen for his contributions to the company.
