The parties in the Norwegian air transport dispute have reached an agreement. This means there will be no strike for SAS cabin crew, NRK reports.

The dispute is about wages and working conditions.

The threatening strike has led to increased ticket prices for alternative travel by air, train and bus, according to the news agency NTB.

For example, a flight ticket to Karmøy in southwestern Norway from Oslo with Norwegian costs 20,000 Norwegian kroner, equivalent to 19,800 Swedish kroner.

A bus journey from Oslo to Trondheim now costs from 1,200 Norwegian kroner, while the price to Bergen is around 1,300 Norwegian kroner.
