The police are investigating the accident this weekend at Skara Summerland, where a ten-year-old boy drowned. There is no suspicion of a crime at this time, but the police will investigate how the accident happened. It was on Saturday that the boy was found lifeless in a pool at Skara Summerland. A pool attendant picked up the boy and began CPR until an ambulance arrived. The boy was taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved.

In connection with the accident, the police launched an investigation.

– They have not initiated a preliminary investigation due to suspicions of a crime. However, they will investigate what happened, says police spokesperson Jenny Widén.

The park was closed on Sunday but reopened on Monday.
