German airline Lufthansa has had to cancel hundreds of flights when the company's pilots and cabin crew both go on strike. This also affects travel to and from Sweden.

The pilot union went on a two-day strike on Monday. Now the cabin crew union has announced a strike on Wednesday and Thursday.

The strike is due to a dispute over pay and pension levels. At Frankfurt Airport alone, Germany's largest, 572 out of 1,322 flights were cancelled on Monday.

The strike means, among other things, cancelled departures to several German destinations from Arlanda on Monday and Tuesday.
