Taxi Stockholm’s transition to an all-electric fleet is progressing at record speed. In June 2022, the company’s fleet consisted of 4 % electric cars. Today, the fleet has grown to 33% electric cars.

Taxi Stockholm has a strong commitment to reducing its climate impact and contributing to a sustainable city. By investing in electric vehicles, Taxi Stockholm aims to be a driving force in the transition to cleaner and more environmentally friendly transport in the capital. Today, Taxi Stockholm's fleet consists of 500 electric vehicles, a goal that was originally planned to be achieved at the turn of the year.

– We are proud to be accelerating our transition to electric vehicles and to be exceeding our own targets. This shows that our efforts and investments in sustainability are paying off. We want to be a role model in the industry and are determined to continue driving the transition, says Pernilla Samuelsson, acting CEO of Taxi Stockholm.

Under 2024 kommer resenärer i Taxi Stockholms bokningskanaler att även få möjlighet att boka elbilar.

— This upgrade will give travellers greater choice. Taxi Stockholm is the leading taxi company in Stockholm and for us it is natural to take responsibility in the green transition, Pernilla concludes.

Taxi Stockholm's overarching goal is for the vehicle fleet to be entirely emissions-free by 2030.

According to the press release.
