The Civil Aviation Authority gets a new Director General

The Government has appointed Magnus Corell as the new Director General of the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration. 

– We are very pleased that Magnus will take over and continue to develop the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration, says Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Andreas Carlson in a press release. 

Magnus Corell will take up the position on April 1st of this year. 

– I look forward to developing LFV further together with all employees, and when I do so I also think of everyone in the operations and maintenance operations who will soon be part of the authority. We have an important role to play in society, now and in the future, he says. 

He takes over after current Director General Ann Persson Griva's nine years in the post.
