Thérèse Liljeqvist becomes new CEO of Artipelag

Artipelag is pleased to introduce Thérèse Liljeqvist as the new CEO of Artipelag AB. With a solid background in the hospitality industry, she brings valuable experience to her new role.

– ”I look forward to strengthening Artipelag’s position as a clear destination for culture and art in Scandinavia,” says Thérèse Liljeqvist. ”My focus will be on developing the destination, strengthening the economy, streamlining operations and improving accessibility for visitors.”

Among the priorities is improving bus and boat connections to Artipelag, to make it easier for the public to take advantage of the facility’s rich offerings. Thérèse sees Artipelag’s unique combination of art, nature and architecture as a solid foundation for further developing an inspiring and inclusive meeting place for all.

Thérèse has extensive and solid experience in the hospitality industry, where she has held leadership positions at Grand Hôtel Saltsjöbaden, Grythyttan, Scandic Park, Casino Cosmopol and most recently Waxholms Hotell. She has a strong commitment to diversity and equality and has been nominated for Chef of the Year by Chef magazine.
