At 10:15 on Monday morning, Ving's repatriation flight with its own airline Sunclass Airlines landed at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen with 315 Nordic guests, of which 150 Swedes, who had been stranded in several destinations around the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia for just over a week. In parallel, intensive work continues to bring guests home from the risk areas in Dubai and Doha via external airlines.

– Being able to use a flight from our own airline Sunclass Airlines gave us the opportunity to help many of our guests directly home during a period when it is incredibly difficult to find flight tickets. In parallel, we have worked intensively to get stranded guests home in the Middle East, where some have now traveled home and others are booked on flights in the days to come. Air corridors are also about to open in Qatar and our hope now is that Ving's guests who are there can soon get home, says Claes Pellvik, Head of Communications at Ving.

Ving's extra repatriation flights have brought Nordic travelers home from the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bali and Thailand. Those going on to Sweden, Norway and Finland are traveling by plane during the day and some by train to Gothenburg.

Ving also has guests in Mauritius, the majority of whom have their flights home booked, some have traveled home over the weekend while others are on their way home.

According to the press release.
