Aeroplane missing in Colombia

A plane from the state airline Satena has been missing since midday today in Colombia.

The newspaper reports The Herald.

The newspaper writes that all communication with air traffic control centres was lost while the plane was flying towards Ocaña.

19 people were reportedly on board the plane.

No official reports have yet been released regarding the cause of the communication loss. A large-scale search operation has now begun.
