Hertz Sweden is proud to announce that we are the first car rental company in Sweden to reach over 1.5 billion SEK in turnover, an increase from the previous record year of 4.5 % (2023).

This marks an important milestone in our journey towards strengthening our position as a market leader in car rental and mobility services.

Despite several challenging years characterized by post-pandemic effects, reduced domestic flights, rising inflation, higher interest rates, the abolition of bonus malus and a general decline in purchasing power among Swedish households, Hertz Sweden has managed to navigate the market with success and innovation.

CEO Mattias Wäne comments:

– This is a fantastic achievement that demonstrates the strength of our business and our team. The past few years have been challenging, but our ability to adapt, understand our customers' needs and offer flexible solutions has been crucial to our success. Reaching 1.5 billion in revenue is proof that we have found the right path forward, even in an uncertain economic environment.

Hertz Sweden has continued to develop its range of sustainable and flexible mobility services over the past year, which has helped attract both corporate and private customers. With innovative solutions such as long-term rental and investments in electric and hybrid cars, the company has responded to changing consumer behavior and strengthened its market position.

This milestone is not only a success for Hertz Sweden but also a reminder of the crucial role mobility plays in society, especially in times of economic change.

– We are cautiously positive about the future, even if improvements are happening at a slow pace. We hope that 2025 will be a turning point and the market and demand will now stabilize. At the same time, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all customers, partners and employees for their contribution to this historic success, concludes Mattias Wäne.

The financial statements are expected to be completed and approved in late spring/summer.
