There will be more departures when the domestic airline BRA starts its operations today between Kristianstad Österlen Airport and Bromma in Stockholm.
It was in June that Kristianstad Österlen Airport lost its only airline on the Kristianstad – Stockholm route after Sparrow Aviation ceased its flight operations due to dissatisfaction with passenger development.
The municipally-owned Kristianstad Österlen Airport has been plagued by losses for several years, but Jonas Haak, CEO of Kristianstad Österlen Airport, believes that the new company is stronger and that it is an investment in the region rather than expecting a break-even financial result.
