The search for the missing flight MH370 will resume at the end of December, Malaysia's transport ministry has said.

The operation will thus begin more than a decade after the plane disappeared.

The search will begin on December 30, and Malaysia says it will search for wreckage deep in the sea.

The Boeing 777 disappeared from radar on March 8, 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. There were 239 people on board. Despite the largest search effort in the history of aviation, the plane has not been found.
