After a company took out a run-of-the-mill bill of 80,000 kronor last year, the Court of Appeal is now reducing the sentence for the woman who was sentenced to one year in prison for aggravated fraud. 

Instead, the punishment will be probation and community service.

In the case of another woman convicted of the speeding ticket, the prosecutor requested that she be expelled from Sweden. The Court of Appeal does not consider that she has committed a sufficiently serious crime to be expelled, as she has lived in Sweden for more than ten years and is an EEA citizen.

It was on Christmas Day last year that a group of 35 people had dinner at a restaurant in Malmö without paying.

A total of five people were sentenced to prison for the runnota and other fraud by Malmö District Court, but only two of them have had their sentences reviewed by the Court of Appeal.
