Heathrow's first profit since the pandemic

The major British airport Heathrow reports an adjusted profit before tax of 38 million pounds (equivalent to 500 million SEK) for 2023 in a financial statement.

It is the first profit for the company since the pandemic broke out in 2020 and compares to a loss of £684 million in 2022.

Turnover rose by 27 percent to £3.7 billion. A total of 79.2 million passengers used Heathrow Airport last year, according to the financial statements. The forecast for 2024 is 81.4 million passengers.
