British Airways reportedly broke a record on Sunday – thanks to storm Ciara, reports BBC.

The flight from New York to London was supposed to have taken four hours and 56 minutes, according to Flightradar 24. One hour and 20 minutes faster than the scheduled flight time.

And 17 minutes faster than the previous record, which belonged to Norwegian.

According to the BBC, Ciara was contributed by an extremely powerful jet stream that the plane – a Boeing 747-436 – was able to surf at a maximum speed of 1,327 kilometers per hour.
