
Norwegian's passenger traffic, RPK, rose 5 percent in August, compared to the same month last year, according to the company's monthly statistics.
The yield, which shows revenue per passenger kilometer, was SEK 0.46 (0.45) in the month, an increase of 2 percent year-on-year. Revenue per available seat kilometer (fast) was SEK 0.41 (0.40), up 3 percent year-on-year.
Capacity growth (ASK) was up 4 percent in the period, compared to the same month last year. In total, Norwegian carried 3.5 million passengers in August, a decrease of 3 percent from the same period last year, while the cabin factor was 90.0 percent (89.6).
Norwegian operated 99.4 percent of scheduled flights in July and punctuality was 76.2 percent.
